Core Values
Here are my top core values that define who I am.

Family
Family is one of my core values. Spending time with my family is something I love doing, even though most of my family lives in Serbia. I take the chance to spend as much time with them as possible when I visit and enjoy the time with them. My family has been the biggest influence in my life, and have turned me into who I am today. My family has mentored me, provided for me, and taught me how to be a better person. My parents taught me about discipline and passion, and it has been something that I have always believed ever since.
Friendship
Friendship is another core value of mine. The relationship I have with my friends is very important to me as I am able to help them out, while they can help me improve as well. The people I have met in college in class, clubs, and especially the Honduras Immersion Trip have been key people in my life at John Carroll and have been a key reason to my growth and improvement in this part of my life. Friendships are meant to be lifelong and loyal, and it is a core value in my life.

Organization
Organization is another core value of mine. I have always been taught that being organized results in improved efficiency and productivity, and it is something that has stood with me ever since. I have learned to build routines and manage my time with my priorities and it has led to reduced stress and a better way of living. Specifically with academics, staying organized has helped me improve my studies and has taught me new ways of organization. Organization is a vital part to effectiveness and improves overall performance.
Responsibility
Responsibility is another one of my core values. Responsibility is a way to build trust and be held accountable at all times. I have learned to always fulfill commitments and meet deadlines in school when it comes to assignments and projects, and it has resulted in trust in personal and professional relationships. Responsibility is also a key attribute to professional success as being reliable and having a strong personal integrity is vital to the success in a team setting. I have learned to always be responsible and be held accountable for the good and bad things that happen, as responsibility plays a vital role in shaping an individual.

Excellence
Excellence is one of the final core values that I have. I have always learned that excellence results in continuous improvement due to constantly being in pursuit of the highest standards. In my life, I have always wanted to excel academically and on the basketball court, so I had a constant drive for success. On the basketball court, I wanted to excel as much as I can so that there would not be any room for improvement, while academically I have always had room to grow even with the constant want for excellence. My parents have taught me to put in lots of hard work into anything, not just school and sports, and it has led to constant improvement and growth, and has shaped who I am today.
